Saturday Night Dinner 魚香茄子

Hadn’t made this in  months but I picked some eggplant up at the market on Friday because it was on sale.    While I cooked, this wonderful German wine kept things interesting.  I’ve been buying it weekly at Costco for a good month and really love it.  Very fresh and light tasting.

In the end… dinner looked like this. I know, brown rice doesn’t really go with yu xiang qia zi but I stopped eating white rice at home a long time ago.
