A Little Slice of Heaven From L&L

One of my favorite (and conversely least healthy) meals in Hawaii is Chicken Katsu from L&L.  This was the first thing I ate after finishing my month of paleo and when I passed the Fed’s fitness test last year.   I got some tonight because I was too lazy to cook and decided I needed a reward for today’s fast 10k and Sunday’s 25.5K run.  It is so crispy and wonderful…. and the katsu sauce is the perfect  compliment.   This is a mini plate (with an extra scoop of rice substituted for mac salad).  I usually add some kimchee or pickled veges and finish about 1/2 of the chicken and rice.
